memory upgrade of ml110 g3 server

Hello i have a server ml110 g3 with 512mb of ram i like know if is possible change memory module of 512 for one module of 2gb pc2-4200 unbuffered and with ECC or is necessary use two modules por upgrade memory

memory configuration rules for this server:

1) Supported DIMM configurations are single DIMM, one pair (two DIMMs) or two pairs (4 DIMMs).
2) For optimal two-DIMM configuration, populate slot 1 and slot 3. Identical DIMMs are recommended.

so you can by only 2gb on module.

it's your choice of what type of memory to by.

hp recomends 2048 MB Unbuffered Advanced ECC PC2-4200 DDR2 (1 x 2048 MB), Dual Rank.
