I have inserted 2nd memory board in ML 370G5 Server, and inserted new memory with same part no. as earlier, but while inserting new memory it shows error 207 "invalid Memory Configuration mismatch dimms with in memory board 2 bank A" , I have inserted old memory on new memory board it works and new memory on old board but it does not work. Part No. and all other numbers are same of new memory and old memory. Kindly provide some solution

Solution
Hey, the proliants are pretty picky - you need to put the DIMMs in the right place.
In the inside of the "door" for the case, there should be a picture/description of how it's done.

As you can see in the quickspesc: If you only have two DIMMs you need to put them in slot 1 and 5. Not 1 and 2 which I suspect you have?

Re: memroy configuration in ML 370G5 Server
Do you see this problem in the OS as well?
Can it see all 16GB of RAM?
Maybe if you try another AMP?
You can try to run memtest86 as well to look for memory errors.
