After install a controller raid adaptec for proliant with 2 disks a system fun is always under effort

The system is a proliant ml 110 g2.
I add the raid controller with a second disk scsi and i create a raid 1.
After this operation the speed of system fan is always too fast regardind a previous configuration, why?
