ml proliant does not boot
recently purchase a lm350 polian t server.when you put the second processor in machine does not boot have tried other processors

1. Both Processor have to be COMPLETELY identical
2. for the second CPU you have to order a PPM Module
3. it may be a stepping issue. Update the BIOS and try again
4. If it still fails, please crosschange the Processors :)

If you have Checked all the above mentioned points; Check if the server will boot to ONE processor at a time. If it does, then, Put the NEW processor in slot 1 & the OLD one in SLOT 2.
