ml110 g7 *without* raid

I'm curious about windows 8 and its 'storage spaces' as an alternative to raid.

does anyone know whether the ml110 g7 can be configured to operate without raid ?

Yes, it can be configured to (in fact it's default configuration is) a legacy SATA controller.

i'm looking forward to playing with these storage spaces - all of my old disks suddenly have a new lease on life :)
