[ml350] case fan speed
Hello i have a problem with my Proliant ML350 1 Ghz server.
The big fan in the back of the server goes only on full speed.
The situation.
When i install windows 2000 with the SmartStart 5.5 cd everything goes fine. The fan speed is low.
But when i download (update) all the drivers the fan speed will be increased to full speed.
I want to use Windows 2003 R2, which is not support bij de SmartStart cd 5.5 so i have to download al the drivers from the HP site. When i install the Driver - System Management for Windows 2003 everything is fine till i reboot the system. After that the fan speed is only high also when i re-install the driver (for windows 2000 is the same situation).
Is this a hardware problem or something with the drivers?
Sorry for my English but i hope you have a solution.
