ml350 fan question
so i got an old ml350 that has its main system fan going out
so i got another case fan hoping that it would work... which it didnt... and now the computer cannot even recognize the old system fan... and hence shuts down just after recognizing the ram and processor...
any help or suggestions

If you do please check with the other fan to see if it work, if does not,verify if you're old fan does'nt work in the other server,(if you have an other fan?!!)

Is this a G1 or a G2 ML350?

Chassis colour is cream with black grille
ML350 G2 - 1.13Ghz to 1.4Ghz CPU's
Chassis colour is grey/silver with black grille.
G1 fan assembly spare part is 163347-001

it only has dual 860's...
and i found fans that seem to work
but i woudl hardly call 25 bucks cheap
then again... the server was free
okay
so any idea why putting the old fan back into the server still causes the error?
did i blow something out..?
