ml350 g5

Hello...
I have an ML 350 g5 server who has a xenon 1.6 processor, I want to remove it and install a 2.5 quad core xenon, is there any possibility to have a conflict of for my system to stop working, making that change?

Hi,

No, there would not be any issues. But do update the BIOS to the latest and then add the new processor.Following processor are support with 2.5 GHZ.

Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor E5420 (2.50 GHz, 80 Watts, 1333 FSB)

Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® Processor L5420 (2.50 GHz, 50 Watts, 1333 FSB)
