What happens if one of the cpu's fail on a dual cpu ML370 G5 Server ? For example does it reboot and run on one cpu without any problem or continuously restart ?

With the appropiated HP tools you will be alerted as soon as one HW component fails, so that you can proceed and replace the defective part ASAP
