move disks from ML350 G6 to ML310e G8

One of our servers, an HP ML350 G6 has broken down (motherboard problem).

We have another server, an HP ML310 G8 and I want to know if it would be possible to move the SAS disk from the old server (ML350 G6) to the new server (ML310 G8) and try to boot the new server.

It's is necesary to change something in the new server to allow this migration of disk? Or it's impossible?

We have 6 SAS disk configured in RAID 1 (two of them) and RAID 5 (the rest of disks).

Is compatible the ML310 G8 disk controller?

Thanks in advance,

Marcos.

If the ML310e has one of the optional 'P' series Smart Array controllers you should be able to move the SAS drives. The embedded B120i only supports SATA
