multi thread disabling Proliant ML350 G5

I have HP Proliant ML350 G5 Server.
I see 4 CPU in Task Manager /Performance.
I think this is because of Multi threading .How i can disable Multi threading.
BIOS does not show any such feature to disable Multi threading.
I need to disable this for one of my software to work. This software supplier says License is disabled on System with 4 or more processors.

Re: multi thread disabling Proliant ML350 G5

no it is because your processor it is Quad-Core processor which means 4 Procs

if you have latest system rom you can reboot your server and disable 2 Cores there is a new feature in BIOS to do that

"Added support for Intel's Core Multi-Processing (CMP) Technology, that allows disabling of processor cores. This new ROM Based Setup Utility (RBSU) option allows for disabling one-half the cores on each physical processor such that a dual-core processor will have one core enabled and a quad-core processor will have two cores enabled. This feature is not supported by all models of the Intel Xeon processor. Consult Intel documentation for further information."
Didn't your momma teach you to say thanks!
