my controller raid don't work correctly!!!

hello,

 i have a probleme with my controller,i explain i have a proliant server without an os, i have an integrated controller, this one is damaged, so i put an externel controller in my pci slot, at first time all work correctly 

after i finish, i had plug out my externel controller, when i try the second time to plug in in the same machine, surprise this last don't work, and noone controller is detected, please can some one help me!!!!

hi,

please provide some details (which server, which internal controller, which external controller). Try reseating the external controller - try the external controller in another slot.
