my proliant 1600 is dead

this past days i got the first error of 172- nonvolatile memory invalid .. and it works okay , until one day this error happens frequently. and now it becomes dead
no error code and no beep signal

pls help what will i do

Bong:

That 172 Nonvol error means that you need to re-run your System Configuration Utility. Do you have your SmartStart CD? If so, boot off that CD and select the "System Configuration Utility" (SCU). The SCU will present you with a default question to select your boot controller. Accept this and save by pressing F10.

Save and reboot. This should fix the error.

If you do not have a SmartStart CD, then download and create this SoftPAQ:

You will need 4 diskettes for this.
Follow the dialogs and the instructions above.

If the error shows up again, it is likely that the RTC battery is failing. If the error re-appears, you need to order and install Spare Part Number: 160274-001

When the server boots up, what bios revision and date is listed?

hmmmn still the same date and time.lately i've clear the nvram and clear the cmos .. it boot looks fine .. but after six hours ' igot an error of memory error/parity check error. my os is windows server 2003
