need ILO-Software
HI,
I just bought a DL380 G4 second hand and got the cover for ILO also shipped but without any Software. Where can I get the software because install-key e.g. is completely here.
Next: Is it possible to get the same ILO-Software also on ML370G2 and DL360G2??
Thanks for help.

Re: need ILO-Software
What software are you looking for? Firmware?

Re: need ILO-Software
quite right, because there's nothing "in the box" and to set up I believe I need the firmwere first.

Re: need ILO-Software
I still don't know what you wanna do...
To set up iLO the first time press F8 on the power-up screen after the iLO selftest is finished.
Set iLO default settings to erase eventually existing old settings
Set an IP address for the iLO
Set an Administrator password
save and exit
(if iLO prompts you for a password to access the setup screen.... set the "iLO security switch" on the mainboard to 1. Location of the switch is on the sticker inside the cover. Don't forget to reset the switch after setup is done)
Then use a web browser to access your freshly configured iLO. You can use a crossover cable to connect the network port and the iLO port for a quick test.
If you want to use the graphical remote console of the iLO, you will need a license to enable that feature. There are free trial licenses valid for 60 (or 90?) days.
