nic update failure
hi
i have a pl8500 running winnt enterprise.
i have also nic 3131 running driver n100nt.sys version 6.01.03.0011
i tried to install latest version from CP002522 but after completing the installation i find myself with same driver version
i extracted files from the cp002522 and strangely i find the same version of n100nt.sys that i had
can somebody explain how can i do an update
or just tell me where i can find latest version of n100nt.sys and install it

Hi,
The latest version of HP ProLiant NCx1xx/NCx7xx Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet NIC Driver for Windows NT 4.0 is version 7.10.710.16 4 Dec 02) available for download at http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/15495.html
You can give this a try failing that I will upgrade the support pack for the system which should upgrade the NIC driver to the latest version anyway. The latest support pack for Proliant 8500 is V.6.30A available for download at
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17383.html
Please note that upgrading the support pack would also mean updating all HP supported device drivers and management agents.

thanks for your effort,
I tried to install latest SSD and file n100nt.sys is on the same version that I had (n100nt.sys is the miniport driver)
compaq support told me to upgrade this driver but no update found on any ssd
