no win2k option in SCU 2.58A ?

Hello again, trying to install win2003 on a 5K, booted with the SCU version 2.58a (is this the latest ?), pressed ctrl A, however still no win2k option under "install o/s". What am I doing wrong ?

Hello Yvar,
Yes 2.58A is the latest one. Surely Windows 2003 is not an option. To select Windows 2000 you have to select MS and then there is the option for it.

it's not working, so step-by-step;
-boot
-press F10
-press ctrl-A
-enter on "operating system installation"
-choose ???

right.....

Re: no win2k option in SCU 2.58A ?

hmmm, when I select "configure hardware" in the SCU, then "review...", then "view or edit details", it already says Windows 2000 next to primary operating system !

so that should be okay ?

now where do I set the APIC mode to full table mapped ?

Re: no win2k option in SCU 2.58A ?

Hello Yvar,
The APIC mode is under Advanced... When you go to system configuration - Control A - press page down twice after view and edit. Under Advanced you will see APIC MODE.
