p411 controller battery not detected
Hello, I have a P411 controller in a DL380 G6 attached to an external array. ACU does not detect a battery (see attached screenshot) but I know there is a battery pack. I removed the riser, removed the controller, detached the battery pack and cable, reinstalled everything. I even noticed the battery has a green light once powered on, but ACU still shows Battery/Capacitator Pack Count = 0. How do I troubleshoot this? do I have a bad battery/controller/cable/chip?
Thanks,
jcasino

Re: p411 controller battery not detected
Hi,
In the report you may be looking at a wrong controller, or you may be confused between cache module and battery pack.
Battery pack part number should be some thing like 462976-001 = Battery module.
Just reconfirm, if still the battery pack is missing then do upgrade the controller firmware or replace/swap the battery pack or its cable.
Thank You!
