pmp licenses..
i'm trying to configure the performance Management packs on my proliant servers. according to the pmp documentation, my servers have lics for the PMP, (they come free with the servers). I don't know where to find them however.
am i misreading the info about the lics being included with the proliant servers?

Re: pmp licenses..
What servers are you referring to? Blades or some others?
Generally PMP is a chargeable product & you need to purchase it. It also applies to blades, but you can buy a bundle consisting of a blade enclosure & PMP licences.
You can consider your 'monitoring station' as being licensed for free, but still you need licences to monitor anything:

Or maybe you think about PSP, i.e. ProLiant Support Pack?

Re: pmp licenses..
they are mostly Proliant DL servers. it makes more sense that its a purchasable item.
just seems like i've read in a few places that licenses were free, or that's at least how i understood it..
