post error

Hi
There is some problem with one of our proliant 6400R xn 500 Server.The post error code is 212-processors in slot 2& 3 failed.But we changed the processor from the working slot to the failed one to check.Still it is showing that the processors in the same slot as failed.I updated the bios also.Still the same problem.will it be a problem with the system Board.Pls help?..

You must run the SCU (System Configuration Utility) in order to clear up this error. To do this press the F10 key after the array configuration and before the server boots the OS. It will ask something about a failed proc - have you fixed it? Answer yes and it should be ok. If it comes back on the next boot - you do indeed have a problem. Good Luck.

I am hoping since this has been so long you got it fixed prior to my response.
