Re: power_meter ACPI 000D: ignoring unsafe software
Greetings,
Are you able to install CentOS on DL380 Gen10 server through USB key.
If yes, are getting below error after successfully OS installation, then please refer HPE and Redhat article.
- power_meter ACPI 000D: ignoring unsafe software
- can't read CTR while initializing i8042
With reference to message "power_meter ACPI000D:01 Ignoring unsafe software", please refer Redhat KB article.
https://access.redhat.com/solutions/3054341
As per HPE customer advisory a00041662en_us : The "Can't read CTR while initializing i8042" message can be safely ignored. This occurs because the Linux kernel is attempting to locate a PS/2 controller that is not attached.

Else check CentOS installation by mounting CentOS ISO image to iLO virtual media and initiate the installation.
If still unable to install centOS then kindly provide CentOS version attempted to install on DL380 Gen10 server.
