Service and maintenance guide page 94

That small switch on the fron upper right hand corner

There is no hard power button on the power supplies. There is stand-by power in the server when the power cord is plugged in. The power is needed for the iLO card.

Re: power on button of ProLiant DL160 G6

So the Power LED/switch is a SWITCH ?? so i have to click on the small power led to turn it on/off ?
so i have first to plug the power cord dirrectly to the wall outlet
and then clik on the small led to turn it on to boot form my CD.
i will try to boot form opensuse 11.2 Live Cd.
do you know if it will work. some people said that the NIC driver will not work for opensuse !
thx a lot
