power up problems
I have a proliant 5500 with 2 CPU's. I installed some additional RAM in it, but afterwards the machine will not power on. I have tried re-seating the RAM, and finally removing the new RAM but with no sucess.
The machine has power (PSU and system board AUX PWR leds are green) but the green led on the front stays dead. The system display is on displaying standard info. No fans run. Also the four LEDS cr50-cr54 are orange. cr29 is green.
Does anyone have any ideas ?
Thanks

Re: power up problems
Reseat the CPUs and those two little boards that go with them. Worked for me.
