powering a blade server

We just bought a p-class blade server, with a 1u power enclosure and a PDU, my problem is the pdu has an iec309 power plug, and we do not have such plugs in the building.
Is there a way to not use the PDU and connect the power enclosure directly to the power outlet?
Again on the power enclosure i only have PDU C19 type plugs. Is there any cable available in order to connect it?
Or any way at all to power the blade servers?

Re: powering a blade server

Hi,

I have solved my issue in two ways:

1st option:
16A Female connector(C19)<---->To wall(SCHUKO) Product No: E7809A

With this one you would need as many cables as you have power modules in your enclosure.

2nd Option:
Use a PDU(part no. 228481-006) and connect enclosure to PDU with cables you received with the blade and then connect PDU to Wall with same type of cable as in option 1.

Option 2 is a bit more expensive but a more recommended option.

Re: powering a blade server

So if i understand well i can plug directly the power enclosure to the wall socket using the right cable in solution 1.
The blade will go at a datacenter where i will be able to use the PDU there.
I just need to plug it at the office in order to set it up.
Thanks for your answer!

Re: powering a blade server

Yes using option 1 you should be able to plug it directly into the wall.
