Hello to all,
I have 2 servers:
server A:
2 x Pentium II 450 dual processor supported.
server B:
1 x Pentium III IGHZ dual processor supported
Is it possible for me to add another processor on server B and upgrade both cpu on server A to say pentium III?
Also, is it possible to switch RAM from proliant ML370 to proliant 1600?
Thank you very much for your replies.

Solution
Without knowing which servers we're talking about, I can't say for sure. Are these the PL1600 and a ML370?
Yes the 1600 can be upgraded, but I would recommend getting the thermal upgrade kit (pn 144003-B22) for this. The ML370 can be upgraded to dual procs without anything else. Moving memory from one of these servers to another (ML370 to a 1600 or vice versa) is not recommended and will likely not work at all.

The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
