prolaint ml350 g5 - very slow drive access

could someone please help, I have a prolaint ml350 g5 SATA on a raid 5 array connected to a SCSI controller with 3 physical drives,

my problem is I have sage accounts on the server and accessing the data is very slow to stopping sometimes, and yet if I put the sage data onto a works-station I't blinding fast to access, so it can't be the network as i need to go through the server to get to the station

any help much appreciated

Re: prolaint ml350 g5 - very slow drive access

hello,
it's win2k3 R2
standard edition, service pack 2, with 2.5Ghz processor, 3Gb ram, 3 x 72GB hard drives which have over half available space, not sure where I would find the information on 32 or 64 bit?

Hi Mark,

did you get chance to look at my last response?
would really appreciate it if you could help me out on this one!

also I haven't marked any points yet as we were ascertaining whether we had 32 / 64 bit on my original question, hope this makes sense

tia,
William
