proliant 2500 overheating

I have a Proliant 2500 that is overheating and shutting itself down in the middle of the night. The fan appears to be running but I am going to replace it anyway. What other hardware could be failing? The room temp in my server room is at 64F.

Thanks
Mike

Re: proliant 2500 overheating

The temp sensors may be failing also. I don't remember much about the 2500's, but i think the sensors are on the mainboard itself. You can also try Rompaq'ing the server to the latest levels to see if that will help.
