proliant 370 G5 battery failure issue
Am getting a battery failure error on Proliant 370 G5 server. OS installed is server 2003.
I have replaced the battery with the new one 2 times, and i have also waited for around 48 hours after changing the battery. so that the logs can be updated. Even after 48 hours the status is still the same and am getting battery failure issue.
what are the suggestions ? what should i do ? is it a firmware issue ?
its urgent, kindly reply at your earliest..
thanks,
Mohsin Zubair

Re: proliant 370 G5 battery failure issue
New battery should have a full charge for 72Hs, you should still wait for a while, then I recommend you flash RAID Controller to the latest firmware, hope this will help!
