proliant 7000 dead please help
I need to reload the OS software, can only boot up from a floppy. When I select start with cd rom support it says "no cd rom found, driver not loaded".I will not recognize the the cd if I try to boot from the samrt start cd.I have tried 3 different cd rom drives and 2 new cables.I have replaced the STP board and still have the same problem.

Re: proliant 7000 dead please help
Hi Drew,
I have few questions for you before providing any suggestion.
1. Is this Pentium Pro or Pentium ll/lll you are running?
2. Which part are you refering to STP board?
3. Have you clear Nvram via System Maintenance Switch 6?
