proliant DL380 G4 MSA500
Hi,We have MSA500 with 14 HDD. These 14 HDD are combined into 2 RAIDs with "linux raid autodetect" filesystem.
I dont't think is good idea to make software RAID over hardware's one.
So, is there any way to modify MSA500's RAIDs without data loss
---------------------
Fedora Core 6

Re: proliant DL380 G4 MSA500
- Fedora is not supported on Proliant server
- The MSA500 has RAID Controllers, you must create a RAID for disks to be visible to OS, even if it's 14 RAID 0 with one disk each.
- Much better idea to use hardware RAID, faster and more reliable
- In the MSA you can add disks to a RAID and migrate from one RAID level to another, but first you need to check what has been configured using ACU.
