proliant IDE raid controller supporting 200GB?

Whats up with the addressing on the IDE raid 200GB drives only show up as 131GB?

Even the latest BIOS do not do anything.

Any clues?

Hi
Looks like the controller only supports 48bit LBA. Common problem at the moment with all the large drives available. 137GB is all that can be adddressed.
No updates have appeared for any HP systems, it would be nice if HP stated if updates are possible and in progress or not possible and never happening.
At the moment only way of getting full capacity is to but a PCI raid card with support for > 137GB.

Well if it supported 48-bit LBA I would not have this issue. But it is sad that HP does not support something that has been in the marketplace for over a year. Microsoft has supported it since W2K SP3. When I ordered the 4 Proliants I did not even think to check to see they supported > 137GB. Crazy stuff... Guess I should build a clone next time? Or Dell?
