proliant dl360e gen8 a second processor

Purchased a second processor for the server hp proliant dl360e gen8 (668814-421)  - Intel Xeon E5-2407 2.20Gh . Memory for a set. When the server boots, I get an error:  245 Proccesor Power-on Issue: Processor 2 did not power up.

Inserts a new processor instead of the old, the server is started. They do not work are obtained in the bundle.

What's the problem?

IMO, you'd better check if the new CPU has the same model  and specification as the old one, then I suggest you update MB BIOS to the latest version or clear NVRAM to have a try!

HI,

245 Proccesor Power-on Issue: Processor 2 did not power up Mean that te 2 Processors are not identical.

Check if the new CPU has the same model  and specification as the old one.
