proliant dl580 ping OK but connection KO

with redhat 7.1 my server proliant dl580 freeze, ping is OK, rlogin is KO, telnet is KO and the console's screen is black and cannot restart with mouse or keyboard.

Is this a fresh install, or has it been running and just started to fail?

The system was installed in 2002. If the system is rebooted every week, no problem. Other the problem appears after 9 or 10 days.

Has any one found a solution to this? We hare having the same problems but using Windows 2000 Adv Server.
