Re: proliant ml350

Hi Alex
Do you have SmartStart CD?
If you have, use it and try to prepare your server for OS deployment.

1. Boot your server by Smartstart.
-Select Maintain server
-Select Erase utility to clear all previous configurations.
2. At the next boot
-Select Deploy server
-If you have Smart array controller Lunch ACU and configure your hard drive
-At the next step select your operating system and continueâ ¦

Re: proliant ml350

How do you burn your file to CD?
What is program you use to burn CD?
If your downloaded file become as zip file try to unzip first and then burn the image file to CD.
If you use Nero select â Burn image or saved projectâ option.

Re: proliant ml350

i use creator DE, i unzip the file to desktop then drag the .iso file into the creator de program then i make sure that the cd is verified after burning. then i put the cd in the server computer and nothing, its like the cd is not in the computer at all.

Re: proliant ml350

Iâ ve never used creator DE,
But I guess when you drug the .iso file to creator DE, the program burn it like a file, not disk image.
When .iso files write as data (or single file), created disk is not usable
You should burn .iso file as disk image to make a bootable CD.
If you cannot find any option to do in DE try UltraISO software (download from somewhere)
After installing UltraISO right click on your .iso files and select:
UltraISO -> burn to disk
