proliant ml350e gen8 Ram Problem
Dear all ; please help i have an ml350e gen8 with one cpu and installed 24GB of ram with windows server 2012r2 and the server is always limited to use only 2GB or ram what ever i do, i have tried changing the OS, updating the firmware using SPP the latest version and still limited to use 2Gb of the installed memory, the only thing i did and changed that when i installed hyper-v on top of my os and installed windows 10 on top of it and assigned 10GB of ram to it so the total used RAM is 12Gb, so i have tried to install vsphere and windows 2012r2 on top of it and still the used RAM is Limited to 2GB of Ram.
Please help
thank you

Re: proliant ml350e gen8 Ram Problem
How have these DIMMs been populated within the server?
Are you able to see 24GB of memory in POST?
Do you see any red/amber LEDs on the front panel of the server?
You may collect AHS logs from ILO and log a case with HPE for further help.

Re: proliant ml350e gen8 Ram Problem
Did we try a NON-MS OS? If yes, does it also exhibit the same behavior?
We would have to look at logs for further progress on this issue.
