proliant running xp

I HAVE FOR EVAULATION A PROLIANT DL120 G6 SERVER (SN: CZ1102024Z), I NEED TO LOAD WINDOWS XP 32BIT ON IT FOR MY SOFTWARE TO WORK, I NEED 20 NOW TO FULLFILL AN ORDER, I'VE ALWAYS USED DELL'S (300 APPRX OVER THE LAST YEAR) BUT THEIR NEW MODEL DOESN'T SUPPORT PCIE VIDEO CARDS AND I NEED THAT ABILLIITY, AND DELL ARE USELESS TO DEAL WITH. CAN YOU TELL ME A LIST OF SYSTEM COMPONENTS SO I CAN DOWNLOAD DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURES WEBSITE, I NEED 20 OF THESE URGENTLY,
I'VE USED DELL POWEREDGE R200'S UNTIL THEY CHANGED THE MODEL TO A R210 AND NO SUPPORT FOR THE PCIE CARDS ANY MORE.
I DO LIKE YOUR KIT AND THEIR MUCH BETTER VALUE FOR MONEY BUT I DO NEED A 1U SERVER RUNNING XP 32BIT AND A MATROX PCIE VIDEO CARD.

Re: proliant running xp

HP Servers don't support XP 32-bit usually. They are designed for server OS. You might have an issue getting drivers to work.

1U Server? I doubt HP is the answer. PCIe is the new standard.

1 PCIe x16 G2 slot should be able to handle Matrox board.

Why do you need to use that matrox video card? Why do you need XP 32-bit and Matrox video card? Sounds like you are trying to build for old software. Did you consider upgrading the software packages?

Re: proliant running xp

Maybe you should contact your HP sales person about this. Maybe also for a new keyboard.

This is just an idea/theory, but maybe your software would work in a virtual machine? Is it then possible to present a virtual PCI graphics card to the guest OS?
