plz sombadi help me.
i have buy a proliant server from Ebay.
whitoud drivers or manuel.
how khan i find my type nr of the prolian server, for downloading the drivers and manuel.
i know it have a 150 Mhz CPU and 128 Mb ram.
i also have problems whit the 3 harddrivers

The model of Proliant should be stamped right on the case, usually in the front, but perhaps in the back. Also, if you can supply a part number, usually a 6 by 3 number like.. 123456-B21, you/we should be able to look it up that way.


You can also just grab the latest Smart Start 5.5 CD image, make a CD and boot it up with it. From the CPU specs, it sounds like an older model like a Proliant 1000 or 2000. SS5.5 is probably the only supported CD, though you would be able to apply the latest Support Pack (7.40).

thx.fot the link.
on the frond uper left corner stais compaq proliant.but at the site wheer the rdivers ar is a baarcode whit a 8708HUK2002 number.
on the site stik a big laybel whit a
185301-002 S2 number and a series 3155 UG number.


on the other prolian server thad i have.is a smal label whit barcode and i think the model number. is a 1500R 5/100.
but dis whan i haven't testet jet. no ram or harddrives ar in it.

8708HUK2002 invalid for Serial number
there should be one more number start with J or 6 usually
185301-002 just a label part number

for 1500R 5/100.
