psp 8.00a errors after install
This occurs on restart. I can start the service manually without error. FYI: The service is to set to start automatically.
Anyone else having this problem?

Re: psp 8.00a errors after install
so you're using Windows 2008 / 2003?
DL360 G5, G4, ...?
that is pop up window? or a Event viewer (event id - source)?
what if you uninstall HP Insight Foundation Agents(IFA) from Add/Remove Programs?
- uninstall IFA
- restart SNMP service
- reinstall IFA
- restart SNMP service (in case is needed)

Re: psp 8.00a errors after install
I am running Windows 2003 on a DL380 G4 server. I has previously said it was a DL360. It is reporting the error on both a popup window and in the event logs.

Re: psp 8.00a errors after install
Configuration:
HP ProLiant DL360 G5, PSP 8.00A, Windows 2003 Standard SP2 (+ SharePoint Portal 2003/2007).
BTW: works well on ProLiant DL320 G2, W2K3StdSP2)
After installing, reinstalling (HP IM Agents) or restarting (SNMP service) service "HP Insight Foundation Agents" is running just for approx. 2min and then stops with the following errors:
Log: System
Type: Error
User: N/A
Source: Service Control Manager
Category: None
Event ID: 7034
Description:
The HP Insight Foundation Agents service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 2 time(s).
Log: Application
Type: Error
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Source: VsJITDebugger
Category: None
Event ID: 4096
Description:
An unhandled win32 exception occurred in cqmghost.exe [5916]. Just-In-Time debugging this exception failed with the following error: Debugger could not be started because no user is logged on.
Check the documentation index for 'Just-in-time debugging, errors' for more information.
(if I log into console - this won't be logged; popup window instead)
Few minutes later:
Log: System
Type: Warning
User: N/A
Source: Foundation Agents
Category: SNMP Agent
Event ID: 1806
Description:
Component: Foundation SNMP Agent
Error: The Foundation SNMP Agent service is not running.
Cause: The agent has determined that the Foundation Agent service is not running. Stop the SNMP service and restart the Foundation Agents service. If the error persists, reinstalling the Management Agents may correct this error.
Any ideas? Shall I roll back to PSP v7.91?
