"DL360 Server HP Teaming Configure Problem"

Hi there

One of our valued customer they are facing a HP Teaming Problem. The customer has two NIC and they want to make it teaming. But when we built teaming with two NIC it didnâ t bind. We already found the two NIC are ok and test the two NIC by ping methods separately.

When we went to hp network configuration utility, it show lan1 and lan2 card than we select the two NIC .After selecting the two NIC we insert the teaming setup option than it took few times and show the lan2 card red cross sing. I give you the problem screen print by attachment with the mail.

The customer is now very much anxious about this server because there server is a production server. The server info is below:

Server : HP Proliant DL 360

Operating System : Windows 2003 enterprise edition

H.D.D : 250 GB, RPM 7.2 Serial ata

Memory : 2 GB

Please give me the appropriate solution as soon as possible.

Regards
Shovon.

Re: "DL360 Server HP Teaming Configure Problem"

Can you tell us the driver version of NICs and version of NCU... It is possible that one of the NIC is not able to join because it does not have the min. required driver for NCU.

Re: "DL360 Server HP Teaming Configure Problem"

Hi Rahul Singh

Thanks for your reply. You want to know the NIC driver and NCU
Version. I also provide you the NIC firmware version below:

HP NC-Series Broadcom Driver Version 10.24.0.0
HP Network Configuration Utility Version: 8.60.0.0
Firmware version 2.1.0.5

When I build the team with two lan like lan1 and lan2 it bind and made a team but after few seconds lan2 dropped from the team.
So the teaming problem alive.

Please help me.

Thanks and Regards

Shovon.
