Hello. I'm trying to update iLO 5 from current 1.40 to 1.48 using the iLO web management interface. It fails; iLO Event Log shows:
Initial Update 07/20/2020 16:44:34 Event Code 0x448
Machine is ProLiant ML110 Gen10, iLO Firmware version 1.40 Mar 20 2019.

SolutionHi,
Can you please try in below sequnce
1. Version:1.45 (3 Jul 2019)
2. Version:2.10 (20 Dec 2019)
3. Version:2.18 (10 Jul 2020) : https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_a3166ad9df6a40e6aa156438c6#tab-history
if you have installed windows operating system then can run the .exe file directly or else extract the file and then locate the .bin from ILO web console.

Yes, it worked perfectly! It looks like my problem was using os-independent files (eg ilo5_145.fwpkg) instead of bin files extracted from Windows executables (eg ilo5_145.bin). Which brings a question: what are the fwpkg files for? Thanks!

fwpkg, is also firmware update file. Usually this works for firmware update. This file availalble for Gen 10 ILO and bios firmwares
