"Hot Spare" before or after setup?
Will it matter to either include the spare hard drive before or after setting up the are and installing the O.S. Thanks in advance.

I usually set it up when I create the logical drives before I install the OS. It makes sense to plan your storage subsystem before you put the OS on.

Hi Ben
It really does not matter when you plan to include hot spare drives, but advisable to have them before OS setup. Once you have them before production starts, you do not have worry on disk failure.
