rack and power manager 1.0 uses excess CPU cycles

rack and power manager 1.0 uses excess CPU cycles

The 'compaq rack and power manager' service consumes 9-33% cpu cycles; stop the service cpu usage drops to <1%. Restart the service and it climbs back up. After a restart of 'rack and power manager' and use the web browser management tool then CPU cycles immediately jump back up - and stay up even after you log out of the management tool. The processes: servicemanager and ibserver, consume the cpu cycles.
Thanks for any tips.

We are getting ~50% loading on a Xeon 2.8GHz machine. Have you had any success getting a response from HP support on this!!
