raid migration on p400i on linux

Hi all!
I'm trying to make an online migration from raid0 (one disk) to raid1 (two disks). Unfortunately, i can't find array management utility on the server and couldn't find it on hp's site. I looked on hp.com/bizsupport without any result.

I tried to boot from SmartStart CD and launched Array Configuration Utility, but there was no option to do the raid level migration. I think i did something wrong, but can't understand - what exactly :). Can anyone help me with it?

Re: raid migration on p400i on linux

the most common issue is that your controller does not have battery for the cache (BBWC) so you need to get that battery

in Array Configuration utility you can check if your controller have battery there is value:

Battery Count: 0 or 1

so if it says 0 no battery you need to get one

it it says 0 you are not following the correct procedure to EXPAND / MIGRATE your RAID
