raid utility?

i'm installing a proliant ML 150 g5 server. i create a raid1 by the lsi card on pci4 of the server. now i want to monitoring the state of the raid but in the cd-rom of drivers i don't find any utility for the raid that give the ability to see the raid in windows. is there any?

Hi,

if you have the SC40Ge LSI SAS HBa, you must you some LSI utility...there is no HP utility.

ACU is for Smart Array controllers only, HP Storage Manager is for (embedded) SATA RAID controllers only....

With this controller on other server(with management agents) you can monitor the health in SMH, but on this server - only with LSI utility(user guide states : "Physical drive failures and other critical events for this adapter are identified only on the HP System

HP Smart Array Configuration Utility (ACU) only supports 300,400,500,600,700 serial Proliant server, not 100 serial server.

HP ACU is supported in 100 series, but you must have Smart array controller ...there is no smartstart, but there is ACU
