ram issue on a ProLiant DL365 G5
i have 1 processor installed out of 2 possible, and 8gb of ram but only 6gb of ram is being used, whatever ram i put in the other 4 slots beside the empty processor slot is not being used, how do i get it to use the other 4 slots?

hi
simple you need to install another Proc to have all DIMMS (other 4 slots) recognized
it says that in memory guideline for that server
NOTE: DIMM banks are active only when the corresponding processor socket is populated.
