redundant array controllers
I have a 3200 array controller in my Proliant 3000. Can I have 2 and have utilize any fault tolerance features?

Re: redundant array controllers
Kevin,
I believe the only way to do redundant is on the 3150ES or 4250 controllers. However, one thing you can do is get the duplex-backplane option for the 3000 and utilize seperate *channels* to duplex the drive cage. While you lose drive space, it does give a measurable level of fault tolerance.

Re: redundant array controllers
You can split the back plane with the duplex board and connect both SCSI channels to the two SCSI buses on the array controller. You can also install two array controllers into the system, and connect each SCSI bus to its own controller. You have many fault tolerance configurations and options with the 3200 array controller and duplexed backplane. See the user guide for the SmartArray 3200 controller at this web address.
