Re: repair hp prolaint ml110 g7 server from amber problem
Hello @amka1,
I see that the fan is not blowing and nothing happens when you press the power button.
I guess the PSU or the SB has failed.
If you have carepack, you may open a case. If the serevr is without warranty I would either suggest crosschanging the PSU with good one from other server or order spare part(s).

Re: repair hp prolaint ml110 g7 server from amber problem
Can you try booting with minimal config?(one processor, one memory DIMM and only the mother board - absolutely no PCI or HDDs)

Re: repair hp prolaint ml110 g7 server from amber problem
Hi
Thank you for Posting your query. I was unable to see any LED Indications on the server.
Please find the Recommendations below:
1. If there is no LED on Power Button -
---A. If Power Supply LED is Green.
* Perform Minimum Configuration and check if the server boots. Use Different Processors and DIMMs to check.
* If the Server does not boot, the issue can be with System Board Or Power supply Backplane.
---B. If Power supply LED is AMber/NO LED
* Replace the Faulty Power supply with a working Power Supply and check if there is any LED Indication when the power Button is pressed.
* If NO LED on Power Button, Check with Power Supply Backplane.
2. If there is amber LED on Power Button:
* Perform Minimum Configuration and check if the server boots. Use Different Processors and DIMMs to isolate the issue.
Regards,
Aniket (HPE)
