I've just replaced the motherboard on a Prosignia 740 server. Is there a way to configure the onboard raid controller to recognize the existing Raid 5 array, without losing the data?

Solution
Just to clarify.
The Prognia 740 does have an on-baord RAID controller. It's juts a normal SCSI controller.
If you are using a RAID controller then all you have to do is plug in the SCSI cable for your RAID 5 and at POST it should say New Logical Found.

Re: replacing Prosignia 740 motherboard with onboard raid controller
Oops. I apologize. The 740 does NOt have a RAID controller.
