Keep getting this message:

Re: sata raid

Does it work with raid disabled? from what I see there is no raid driver for SCO on the HP driver site for this model.

Re: sata raid

I have a second server with the sas controller card. I can install sco using the lsil driver from the btld disk.

The read me file mentioned to use the updated wd driver for the inbedded sata raid, but were not able to install. Just want to know anyone out here have any luck installing sco with sata drives.

Re: sata raid

Mike, I have a related issue with this model Ml310G4 using SAS ( add in PCI-X card, not embedded controller). I saw your reference to also installing sco 5.0.7 using this card and the "lsil" driver. Did you ever find a raid utility to manage the array under 5.0.7 for this card? I have asked in other forums on HP and no answer yet. Yours is the first post I found suggesting someone else did the same SCO 5.0.7 install with lsil driver.
It works as expected, but I hate not having a software tool within the OS to respond to array issues. As it stands, I have to rely on the "internal health" led to tell me if a drive failed!
