Re: schedule power on and shootdown

I dont think so you get any option from BIOS like to shutdown the server.
We have ASR in case of hung then it shutdown the server.

Hi,

Microsoft can help you with that

Remote Shutdown Tool to Shut Down and Restart a Computer in Windows 2000
You can also specifiy the time for that.

David,
Prashant already give you answer about shutdown.
Regarding power on:
If your have ML370 G3 or G4 (probably G2 as well) you can use ILO (Lights-Out Management) - ILO have "Virtual power" button option

>>i have a ploliant ml 370 1000 mhz win os

So you have ML370 G1 without ILO.

You can use WOL (Wake On LAN) feature of network card:
"How To Activate Wake-On-LAN On ProLiant Servers"

Of course you can buy and install Remote Insight Lights-Out Edition II card

but it is bit overkill if you need only power-on
