serial port console on proliant 370

I have 5 Proliant 370's I'm trying to setup to use the serial port for the console. I've made the changes in the BIOS but it has no affect. After the BIOS finished the os shows up on the serail port. I also have a 530 and it works ok. All the POST data is sent to the serial port. I'm testing with a null modem cable connect ot a pc running Linux. My terminal is xterm running kermit. I've tried many configuration but none of the 370's work. The BIOS is P28 01/08/2003.
